Robert Gardner grew up as a missionary kid in Hong Kong & Taiwan. He came to personal faith in Jesus Christ at 11 during Jericho week at Glorieta Baptist Encampment. Robert grew up in a multicultural family, living in a multicultural environment. He has lived & worked in New York, Beijing, Vancouver, & Seattle. Since 2022, he has served as the English Pastor at Southwest Chinese Baptist Church in the Greater Houston area.

Robert brings a diverse background in Architecture & Business, having studied at Texas A&M, Peking University, and University of Washington. Robert answered the call into ministry in 2015, starting his M.Div. at Regent College. Over the years, he has served in internships and pastorships in both English & Chinese congregations. He has continued to use his multicultural & multilingual background in serving the church wherever God has placed him.

Robert is married to Theresa, living with their son Jeremiah in Missouri City, Texas.

簡伯恩是一位傳教士的兒子，自小在香港與臺灣長大。他在11歲時在位於新墨西哥州的浸會園中相信耶穌基督為個人救主。簡傳道在一個多元文化的家庭裡長大，更在一個多元文化的環境裡成長。他曾在紐約、北京、溫哥華、西雅圖、等地方居住與工作。自2022年，他在休斯頓的西南華人浸信會擔任英文牧者一職。

簡伯恩擁有豐富的建築和商業背景，曾在德克薩斯 A&M 大學、北京大學和華盛頓大學學習。 2015 年，他回應呼召，開始攻讀維真神學院的道學碩士學位（MDiv）。多年來，他曾在英文和中文堂會擔任實習生和傳道。無論上帝將他安置在何處，他都繼續利用自己的多元文化和多語言背景來服事教會。

簡伯恩與愛妻朱有欣與他們的兒子簡信傑住在德克薩斯州密蘇里城。
