May Lee was born in Houston, TX and currently resides in Denver, CO. She was baptized in 2005 at Sugar Land Chinese Baptist Church in Stafford, TX. She became a registered nurse in 2016, graduating from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She currently still works as a bedside nurse in a hospital setting on medical, surgical and intensive care units in the Denver area. May was called into seminary to study counseling in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary with a graduation plan in spring 2026. She is on her way in pursuing licensure where she hopes to become a licensed professional counselor. 

May is following the Lord’s calling in bringing counseling into churches, specifically Asian American churches and into Pioneers ministry. She has a passion in working with adolescents and family counseling, but also works with adults in areas of anxiety, life changes, depression, grief, and loss. She hopes to bring more awareness and understanding of what counseling is and how it can help personal growth and relationships in and out of the church.
