Joshua and Betty Chow
Joshua Chow was born in Taiwan and raised in a Christian home and church, where his father served as the pastor.
His family later immigrated to the United States, where they planted churches together along the East Coast.
Joshua was baptized at the age of 15 but was not sure he was in Christ until he was in his 40s.
Joshua received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and his M.T.B.S. from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He is married to his wife, Betty, and they have three grown sons. He currently serves as the English Minister at Sugar Land Chinese Baptist Church (SLCBC), where he is passionate about teaching God’s Word, discipling believers, and encouraging others to grow in their relationship with Christ.

This is a journey of grace. I started as a reluctant parent, yet I have come to appreciate the privilege.
In the beginning, I struggled in my new role as a stay-at-home mom. Like a "living" sacrifice, I found myself "crawling off" the "altar" countless times.
Yet, God’s way turned out to be the best. He amazed me that I could use all had learned in life—not for my career as an optometrist, but for my calling as a homeschooling mother and now as a life coach. Most importantly, throughout our journey together, God has cultivated my relationship with sons and with Him and also led my sons to walk with Him.
